BOULDER, CO. (October 18, 2006) – A glowing endorsement from Oprah is one of the most coveted stamps of approval any company can receive. One newcomer to the outdoor industry, Néve Designs, received full page treatment in the latest issue of O, The Oprah Magazine.

The Annabelle style sweaters appear on the first page of November’s “O List”. O magazine has a circulation of more than 2.5 million readers.

Several small companies who were previously honored with a spot on the O List experienced what they call the “Oprah Effect”. Enormous boosts in sales and web traffic followed their products inclusion on the O List.

“Our phones have been ringing off the hook since this issue hit newsstands” says Tom Irvine, CEO of Néve Designs. “We are ecstatic to be featured in Oprah’s magazine. We recently expanded our offices and sales staff so this is really an exciting time for us!”

Néve sweaters are sold nationally in fine retailers. To meet the anticipated web traffic the Néve website uses Shopatron, a web feature which places online orders with a buyers closest local retailer.

Néve Designs, founded in 2002 by designer Rhonda Swenson, makes stylish, high quality 100 percent merino wool sweaters, hats and scarves for men and women. For more information please visit: www.nevedesigns.com
