Seattle, WA – Can’t find your tent after a long climb? Struggle to set-up camp in the dark, or trip over guy lines at night? UCO’s new StakeLight tent stake makes night-time camping easier and safer with a clever new tent stake that has both an area light and a strobe.
“The StakeLight is a fresh take on an age-old problem for campers,” says Graeme Esarey, UCO’s Director of Marketing & Product Development. “UCO is all about using technology to make products more functional, and when something as simple as a tent stake actually makes the camp site safer and easier to find, we feel like we’ve succeeded.”

The StakeLight runs for up to 24 hours in strobe mode, and provides up to 17 lumens of light in area mode, all off a single AAA battery (not included). These functions are controlled by a switch that is cleverly integrated into the lens. In keeping with its functional nature, it can be rigged to face toward the tent to light the entry or away from the tent, to mark its location. The stake is made from durable 5000 series aluminum and the LED lives in water-resistant TPE housing. The StakeLight MSRP is $5.99, and the 4-pack is $19.99.
The StakeLight debuts at the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City, July 31 to August 3 at the UCO/Industrial Revolution Booth #40.
