Newton Running Celebrates GoPro IRONMAN World Championship with Limited-Edition Trainers

OCTOBER 8, 2013 (Boulder, CO)—Newton Running, official footwear and run course sponsor of IRONMAN® U.S. Series, is launching a limited-edition IRONMAN Elite Trainer on October 8 in celebration of next week’s GoPro® IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i. Newton Running pro triathletes Craig (Crowie) Alexander, a five-time IRONMAN World Champion and Brit Rachel Joyce, a rising star poised for greatness, will both be gunning for the podium wearing personalized versions of the IRONMAN Elite Trainer bearing their names.

• Wednesday, October 9: Chris McDonald interviews Newton Running triathlete Chris Legh of Australia about his Kona preparations and race-day expectations.
• Thursday, October 10: Newton Running athlete Tim Berkel interviews Newton ambassador Ivan O’Gorman.
• Sunday, October 13: Newton Running is hosting post-race interviews with Craig Alexander and Rachel Joyce.
