Osprey Packs, Inc, an independent pack company located in the high desert and mountains of Southwestern Colorado, is proud to announce that the new Exos 58 pack is featured in the December/January issue of National Geographic Adventure “Best of Adventure” edition.

The edition hit newsstands on November 27th and highlights the year’s best gear. National Geographic Adventure selects the winning product through the filter of a Retail Advisory board composed of 34 of the country’s leading outdoor retailers. The board’s expert decisions are based on product innovation and consumer excitement in the marketplace.

National Geographic Adventure awarded the Osprey Exos 58 for achieving best of class in lightweight design while upholding the Osprey commitment of durability, adjustability and comfort while carrying. The Exos 58 is the go-to pack for active light-and-fast outdoor pursuits, thanks to Osprey’s proprietary Airspeed Suspension, which teams a 6061 T6 Aluminum frame with a 3D tensioned mesh backpanel, and side crescent ventilation. The AirSpeed suspension works in tandem with the supportive and ventilated Bio-Stretchâ„¢ harness. A compression system composed of superlight 7mm webbing rounds out the lightweight, innovative features on the Exos 58.

This combination results in a highly specialized pack to carry a load much more comfortably than other lightweight packs in its category.

National Geographic Adventure praises the Osprey Exos 58 as “A remarkable 2.25 pounds yet sacrifices none of the comfort, durability, or carrying features of beefier weekend bags, With an astounding nine pockets, the top loader will carry up to 35 pounds but – unlike others – it’ll never weigh you down”.
