Nikwax Canadian Sales up for 2006

SEATTLE, Wash. – Officials from Nikwax® N.A., the global leader in environmentally safe aftercare waterproofing solutions, announce a substantial sales increase in the company’s Canadian markets. A sales increase of 18 percent has been seen during the first two quarters of 2006 over the same period of 2005.

This news follows the May announcement from Nikwax officials noting a 22 percent increase in the United States market for the first two quarters.

The increasing sales of Nikwax in the North American markets validates the company’s leadership position in the aftercare market. Nikwax aftercare waterproofing products continue to face increasing competition in recent years, however their steady increase in sales proves that Nikwax continues to be number one.

Along with the sales increase news, Nikwax continues to be committed to growing the after-care market. The company works continually to better educate consumers through modern POPs featuring interactive video and has made huge strides in the past two years to freshen the category through innovative retail programs and a new branding initiative in consumer magazine titles.
