NRS Launches Kayak Fishing Apparel Collection

Moscow, Idaho—Paddlesports apparel and hard goods manufacturer NRS will launch a new kayak fishing apparel collection at ICAST 2015. Designed specifically for kayak fishing comfort and utility, the new NRS line is the first of its kind to hit the market.
“Kayak anglers have always appreciated the comfort and performance of our paddling apparel,” says Mark Deming, NRS Brand Manager. “Now we’ve created a collection specifically designed to meet their needs.”
The NRS Kayak Fishing Collection allows anglers to adapt to changing weather on the fly, in the boat. Ranging from warm-weather sun protection to cold-weather layering, pieces work together to cover the full spectrum of on-the-water conditions. A focus on paddling comfort and fishing-driven features distinguish pieces in the line from general-purpose outdoor and fishing apparel.
“Until now, kayak anglers have been forced to adapt clothing from other sports to piece together a kit, often with less-than-ideal results” says Deming. “We’ve approached every detail with kayak fishing in mind, from material choices to seam placements to where we put the pockets.”
Along with introducing several original kayak fishing items, NRS has updated popular pieces in its layering and technical outerwear lines to provide a comprehensive, curated selection for kayak anglers and kayak fishing dealers. The entire collection is available now for 2016 preseason orders.
