NRS Launches New Inflatable SUP Line

NRS, builders of premium high-performance inflatable watercrafts, will launch a new line of inflatable paddleboards at OR Summer Market 2016. The 2017 NRS lineup includes 15 new designs with models purpose-built for touring, river running, river surf, yoga, youth, fishing, and all-around use.
“We wanted to create a lineup that has something for everyone,” says NRS Chief Marketing Officer, David Blue. “No matter what kind of paddler you are, or what size you are, we have a board that’s right for you.”
The NRS lineup consists of 8 different shapes designed for specific uses, with multiple sizes available for several of the models. The Escape comes in 12’6” and 11’6” lengths for efficient touring. Designed as an all-around shape for recreational paddlers and generalists, the Thrive comes in four lengths ranging from 9’10” to 11’. The 10’4” Mayra features a stable deck with a longer, smoother pad for yoga. The river-running Quiver, featuring a wide stable deck with extra rocker in the nose and tail, comes in 8’8”, 9’8” and 10’4” lengths. The shorter, highly responsive Whip, designed for riding river waves, is available in 9’2” and 7’8” sizes. Two 11’ fishing models, the Osprey and the triple-chambered Heron, provide additional stability and features for anglers, and the 9’2” Amp gives youth paddlers a fun and friendly ride.
“We’ve refined our designs continually over the years based on athlete testing, emerging technologies and evolving consumer demands,” says Blue. “Our 2017 lineup incorporates everything we’ve learned. This is the best line of SUPs we’ve ever built and, we think, the best inflatable line in the industry,”
NRS inflatable SUPs feature exclusive Axis Technology stiffener, double sidewall construction, best-in-class Leafield C7 inflation valves, reinforced fin boxes, and an industry-leading 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. The new line will be on display at the NRS Outdoor Retailer booth, #32073, and will be available for preseason ordering at the show.
