Seattle, WA—Nuun & Co. and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) have announced a multi-year partnership through LLS’s Team In Training (TNT), the world’s largest endurance sports training and fundraising program. Nuun, the leader in optimal hydration, is now an Official Product Partner of TNT. Nuun will be launching a special co-branded sports drink tab that will be made available to more than 5,000 retailers across the country. Fifteen percent of all sales from this special offering will be donated directly to LLS.
Now in its 23rd year, TNT has trained more than 500,000 participants who have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research and patient services. TNT participants get individualized training plans from certified coaches to help them cross the finish line at marathons, half marathons, triathlons, century rides, and hike adventures.
“Nuun’s partnership with TNT is a natural fit for our company. As pioneers of portable, electrolyte hydration without sugar, Nuun is dedicated to improving health through hydration. We are proud to support these athletes who dedicate their training and racing towards bettering the lives of others,†says Mason Reay, Nuun’s Chief Marketing Officer. “With this partnership, we are excited to give back to the LLS community. Our products were developed by athletes for athletes and we look forward to helping TNT members hydrate for optimal performance during training and racing.â€
“We are pleased to welcome Nuun as a product partner for Team In Training, as proper hydration is an essential part of any endurance sports training program,†said Nancy L. Klein, LLS chief marketing and revenue officer. “Thanks to partners like Nuun, we are able to extend awareness of both Team In Training and the importance of funding life-saving cancer research.â€
In addition to providing TNT with its own co-branded offering, Nuun will have a dedicated TNT page on its website, www.Nuun.com, and will launch a national campaign to promote awareness of TNT and LLS through its online advertising, social media, email, and in-store merchandising programs.
