OBÅZ—the new outdoor footwear brand coming to retailers’ shelves in 2008—has hired Taylor Keeley to manage OBÅZ’s daily interactions with its retail partners. Keeley’s hire as Customer Service Manager coincides with OBÅZ’s move to its new headquarters in Bozeman, Montana—the place that inspired the company’s name, which is derived from ‘outside Bozeman.’
Keeley hails from the Southeast, and is a graduate of the Environmental Studies program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She brings retail background to the job, as a former buyer and salesperson for Townsend Bertram & Company Adventure Outfitters in Carrboro, North Carolina. Keeley has also worked in the field as an environmental science educator and researcher. She is an avid rock climber, backpacker and biker and brings a deep love of the outdoors to her new job at OBÅZ.

OBÅZ comes to market under the guidance of John Connelly, who earned industry respect while designing, developing and marketing footwear for numerous successful outdoor brands. Connelly and his team have exceeded sales projections with the launch of the inaugural line of performance trail shoes. Consumers will get to see OBÅZ footwear at retailers in the U.S., the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand starting in early 2008.
