Spring ’15 Preview – Outdoor Retailer Summer Market – Booth BR401
Oboz’ three new hiking shoes for Spring ’15 feature signature Oboz benefits—tough, durable uppers, trail-ready outsoles and top quality insoles.
Common features and benefits of the Teewinot, Switchback and Phoenix are:
- Breathable, durable upper materials designed for Oboz lasts give a supportive structure and excellent fit
- Supportive, after-market quality BFit™ Deluxe footbed is included
- Custom-designed outsoles shed mud and help prevent stumbles and slips on the trail
Teewinot – for men and women
The Teewinot (MSRP $120) introduces a new outsole design with sticky rubber to the Oboz line. It’s the perfect tool for scrambling around the jagged granite of Teewinot Peak in the Tetons, the shoe’s namesake. Full leather construction wraps over the EVA midsole, taking the hard knocks of rough trails. To-the-toe lacing and 4mm deep lugs promote security on off-kilter terrain.

Phoenix – for women
The Phoenix for ladies amps up durability for finding the summit registers on any peak—but especially those like the San Juan’s Phoenix Peak, with its vast scree fields to traverse. Nubuck leather and ballistics mesh with 1.6mm leather overlays and a molded rubber toe bumper are up to the challenge. Inside, Oboz’ proprietary BDry waterproof breathable lining keeps feet dry.

Switchback – for men and women
The Switchback lightens up your feet with its generous midfoot synthetic leather, punctuated by oval windows to let active feet breathe through abrasion-resistant mesh. Extra protection comes from a rubber heel wrap and a synthetic leather toe cap. The shoe is built on Oboz’ Granite Peak platform, which features deep lugs, dual density EVA midsole, and supportive TPU chassis and nylon shank.
