Oboz will highlight its Spring ’14 line at Outdoor Retailer (Booth BR401) with a focus on two new key, trail-ready styles—the Bridger hiking boot and the Helium multisport shoe.

The BRIDGER gives a nod to classic hiking boots of yore, but there’s nothing old-fashioned about this boot. The Bridger sports soft construction for immediate comfort but features the rugged necessities of a trail worthy performer that can fend for itself on sharp talus, off-camber paths and sloppy, slick routes. Its pliable leather requires little break-in and is cushy around the ankle yet has supportive thickness for serious duty. Oboz’ Granite Peak undercarriage is a supportive foundation with components engineered to work together—including the last, BFit Deluxe footbed, molded EVA midsole, TPU chassis and nylon shank, and toothy outsole. Finally, Oboz BDry makes the Bridger waterproof and breathable for year ‘round tromping through challenging wet conditions. In two colors each for men and women.
The HELIUM shoe is a multi-tasker for lightweight missions and all-around adventures—maybe you’re hiking, scrambling up a peak, hopping on a bike, belaying at the crag or out for a trail run, all in a weekend. Oboz designed the bright Helium for versatility, melding the best features of a hiking shoe with the nimble advantages of minimalist footwear. The Helium has a bulk-free upper for a precise, conforming fit, plus essential support, strategic protection and grippy traction—all in a very light shoe with a low profile design that promotes on-the-ground-feel and agility. The shoe weighs in at just over 10 ounces for a men’s 1/2 pair (size 9). For men and women in two colors each.
