Bozeman, MT – January 11, 2018

For Fall/Winter 2018, Oboz will offer new men’s shoes named after and inspired by the trail systems that connect the company’s Bozeman, Montana home to the nearby mountains.
The Hyalite Low is named after Bozeman’s beloved Hyalite trail. It’s designed to go to the trail and back to town again, with style, comfort and performance. The new Bozeman outsole has low profile lugs that bite the trail but are less prone to the wear and tear caused by pavement. The three-part midsole combines single layer EVA for balanced cushioning, firmer EVA around the perimeter for stability, and Ortholite® Imperial high density foam for rebound, support and superior cushioning. Inside, Oboz’ signature O FIT insole supports the foot’s arches. The stylish split suede leather upper has durable and abrasion-resistant scratched rubber toe and heel to keep the Hyalite looking its best.
Take the Oboz M-Trail on a jaunt to the mountains or around town—just like you might on the trail that inspires this shoe’s name. Synthetic mesh upper breathes like a champion for dawn-to-dusk comfort and its durability is enhanced with scratched rubber along the sides, toe and heel. The Bozeman outsole has a sleek look for around town, with lugs that are flat but offer plenty of grip on trail. Underfoot, the triple-density Oboz O FIT insole supports the foot for all day comfort, and the M-Trail’s three-part midsole features Ortholite® Imperial high density foam for excellent rebound and cushioning.
For women, Oboz will offer two new insulated boots for next winter, building on its new Main Street to Mountains collection of women’s-specific footwear that is trail worthy and street wise.
The Juniper 8” Insulated Waterproof provides warmth on cold days, waterproof B-DRY protection and good looks in town and functionality in the mountains. The design starts with a women’s-specific last for a sculpted fit, and inside, the wool-topped O FIT thermal insole helps keep the heat in and supports the arches of the foot. The low profile Swiftcurrent outsole creates a sleek silhouette, and features winterized rubber for cold weather grip on snow and ice. The boot’s side zip entry makes it easy to get in and out, and wide laces and hooks secure the fit. For cozy feet, the boot gets 200 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation as well as a knit collar. Waterproof suede leather and textile gives supple support and the PU-coated leather snow and mud guard wraps the boot for durable protection. Extra functional details for winter include a handy D-ring gaiter hook and a molded heel kick to nudge off the boots when it’s time to come in from the cold.
Additionally, Oboz will offer the Juniper 6” Insulated Waterproof boot for women. Like the Juniper 8″, the boot tackles the days and nights of winter with comfort and reliability in snow, slush and cold, and is stylish enough to be a go-to choice for around town. Its waterproof Nubuck leather and supple textile construction complements the women’s-specific fit, and inside, the supportive Oboz O FIT thermal insole is tailor-made for warmth, with heat-reflecting mylar and felted wool top. For warm feet no matter what the weather, the boot is insulated with 200 grams 3M™ Thinsulate™. Slippery sidewalks and trails are no problem with the added traction winter-specific rubber. Oboz protects the good looks of the Juniper with a durable PU-coated leather rand, which fully wraps the boot to ward of the grind of ice, snow and mud that winter brings.
The entire Oboz line of footwear can be seen in Booth 53105-UL from January 25-28th at Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show in Denver.
