Octane Fitness Fuels International Sales Team

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – June 29, 2012 – Octane Fitness, LLC (www.octanefitness.com), a leading brand of premium elliptical trainers for commercial and home use, recently promoted Mark Lowder to vice president of international sales and has hired Daniel Codling as director of commercial sales for the Asia Pacific region.

“As our international sales have continued their aggressive growth, we are expanding and adapting our team to best meet the needs of commercial customers worldwide,” said Dennis Lee, president and CEO of Octane Fitness.

Since joining Octane Fitness in 2007 as director of sales in Asia Pacific and Latin America, Lowder in his new role assumes additional responsibility for sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well. Reporting to him now are Leo Schreuders, managing director of sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa; Monica Hernandez, director of sales in Latin America; and Codling.

“Mark has offered tremendous leadership to our international team, and has been very successful in growing the Asia Pacific and Latin America markets at a consistent, impressive pace,” adds Lee.

Dan Codling
Based in Hong Kong, Codling comes to Octane after serving as the managing director of Seasons Fitness/Season Day Spa in Hong Kong, where he spent almost four years leading 100 staff members and handling annual revenue of approximately $40 million HKD. Previously, he was the group general manager of Fitness First Hong Kong, Ltd., a premier health club chain with hundreds of locations worldwide, where he developed the corporate sales division in Hong Kong and the framework for the company rollout to Asia.

“Dan brings a lot of energy and a unique perspective from his club management experience to our commercial sales efforts,” said Lowder. “We are confident that he will accelerate our growth and market share in the Asia Pacific region.”
