OOFOS Supports Beyond Type 1’s New York Marathon Team with Recovery Footwear

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Braintree, Mass. – (October 4, 2018) – OOFOS, the leader in recovery footwear, has partnered with Beyond Type 1 as the official recovery shoe for the Beyond Type Run marathon team. The Beyond Type Run team is made up of 21 runners from six countries, each living with Type 1 diabetes, all running to raise awareness and funds for education, advocacy and a cure for the disease.
After learning about the organization and its quest to help those living with Type 1 diabetes, OOFOS recognized the synergies between Beyond Type 1 and its own mission to make people feel better. While it’s no surprise that running a 26.2-mile marathon can be taxing on one’s body, it’s essential to take precautions throughout the grueling training leading up to the race.
