VAIL, Colorado (March 26, 2015) — Opedix, maker of kinetic health gear for performance, recovery and rehabilitation announces the introduction of the CORE-Tec 2.0 Short as the latest addition to their line of kinetic health gear. Following the launch of the DUAL-Tec 2.0 and KNEE-Tec 2.0 tights, the new CORE-Tec 2.0 Shorts are constructed with updated fabrics, an improved waist treatment and enhanced fit profile.
“We have updated the CORE-Tec Shorts based on recommendations from our research consultants, physical therapists and customers ” explains Brian Cousins, vice president of business development at Opedix. “By incorporating customer feedback into our research and development process we designed the next generation of CORE-Tec Shorts to improve versatility and performance.”
The new CORE-Tec 2.0 Shorts offer the same functional benefits as the original CORE-Tec Shorts with improved fit, comfort and breathability. The CORE-Tec 2.0 Shorts employ Opedix’s patented Torque Reform Technology to enhance sensory input and core stability, and promote neutral hip and pelvic alignment.
The CORE-Tec 2.0 Shorts updates include a lighter-weight base fabric with increased spandex content for improved versatility, stretch and compression, a longer inseam and 28 panel construction for optimal fit and function. The CORE-Tec 2.0 Shorts are perfect for runners, golfers, skiers, fitness enthusiasts and anyone seeking enhanced core stability.
“The CORE-Tec Shorts have been one of our go-to tools at our clinic when it comes to treating patients with pelvic instability or lower back pain,” states Francine Bartlett, owner of Excel Physical Therapy in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. “It’s great to see Opedix listening to us and our patients when it comes to the updates they have made to this new product.”
