DENVER, CO. (July 28, 2010) – Optic Nerve, the Denver-based sport sunglass manufacturer, will preview a new 2011 polarized eyewear collection at the 2010 Summer Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City, UT next week. The collection will feature six new styles including two that are available in the FORSEE option – Optic Nerve’s eco-friendly construction process utilizing 100% petroleum free materials.
Inspired by Optic Nerve’s Colorado roots, the new collection was designed to provide outdoor enthusiasts with high quality optical protection and fashion-forward styling at an affordable price. Optic Nerve’s polarized lens technology eliminates 99.9% of the glare that bounces off water, snow and rocks and the highly durable and lightweight frame construction allows for comfort and performance during all outdoor activities.
The collection is comprised of six styles – Agate, Anisette, Ecovaughn, Hot Flash, Soul Patch and Toltec – and has an MSRP of $69.00.
The Agate and the Hot Flash also are available in the FORSEE option, giving earth-friendly consumers a sunglass made from 100% organic castor bean oil. Additionally, the frame painting process has been replaced with a hyper-polishing process to eliminate toxic byproducts and the accompanying sunglass bag is made from highly sustainable bamboo.
