Ortovox Signs Deal with Smith Optics Prospecting Idaho

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (September 28, 2011) – Ortovox, manufacturers of the worlds fastest, most accurate and easiest to use avalanche beacons, is proud to announce a partnership with Smith Sport Optics to be the Official Avalanche Safety Equipment Supplier for the Prospecting Idaho backcountry playground.

Ortovox will supply the staff, athletes and a few lucky winners with beacons, packs, shovels and probes for the 2011-12 season and 2012-13 video series on www.smithoptics.com.
