Adventure takes on many shapes. Ortovox packs embody the spirit to chase it down no matter what form it takes. With four categories of packs to choose from—Alpine, Tour, Free Ride, and All Mountain—Ortovox packs cover the spectrum in backcountry and resort-based adventure. With an eye on craftsmanship, they are designed and built to function perfectly for the end user. With different sizes and women-specific models, Ortovox is at the forefront of technology, fit and function.
Alpine series:
For the mountaineer in all of us. Perfect for year round use, the Peak packs deliver all the technical capabilities you need, whether it’s ski mountaineering, ice climbing, or bagging peaks in the summer. A traditional toploader, but with side access to the main compartment, the Peak allows for fast and efficient pack management. A separate compartment is home for avy essentials, while the helmet stash, gear loops, and pick fasteners offer quick access for technical tools. O-Flex frame allows you to carry the heaviest load in comfort.
Tour series:
Ski touring is at the heart of Ortovox’s mission, and the Haute packs of the Tour Series are worthy of the famous high ski traverse itself. The Haute comes in 35L, 45L, and a women specific 32L, designed to accommodate the female form. Full ski touring features, clamshell style zip access, and O-Flex back panel technology make the Tour series a leader in earn-your-turns skiing.
O-Flex frame technology:
Developed by physicians at the Center For the Back in Munich, Germany, fits snugly on the back without adding pressure to the spine, and distributing the load evenly between back and hips for long day use. Ideal for mountaineers searching for all things far and high.
Free Ride series and All Mountain series:
Closer to the resorts (or the Heli LZ) All Mountain and Free Ride packs provide the essentials to search for wild snow. Bright colors, technical features, and year round function, are hallmarks to their value. Free Ride packs also carry the integrated SPS back protector throughout the line. The Free Rider also has a body-like silhouette and a close-fitting cut, to follow your body movement, and allowing you a solid center of gravity.
At 22 liters The Cross Rider is the signature All Mountain option. Svelte enough for charging below the lifts, but also likes to slip out the gates for that sidecountry stash, the Cross Rider is your pack for resort-based charging. If you need a little more, there’s the 32L. A little less? Try the Power Rider 18.
