As part of their dedication to organizations that focus on the preservation and safe and responsible use of our outdoor resources and environment, Osprey Packs, Inc. requires a mandatory $2 donation to featured organizations on their industry pro-deal, store employee and demo-pack forms. The program generates awareness among outdoor industry employees and additional funding for these superb environmental not-for-profits. At the end of each year, Osprey presents each organization with a check for their cumulative donations.

The recipients of the most recent round of donations include: Access Fund, Colorado Avalanche Information Center, Continental Divide Trail Alliance, Leave No Trace, and the San Juan Mountains Association.

Pro-purchase buyers in 2006 will have the opportunity to contribute to and learn about the Alaska Conservation Foundation, Appalachian Trail Conference, Colorado Fourteeners Initiative, Colorado Wild, Save Our Wild Salmon and the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance.

From their humble beginnings building custom backpacks and sleeping bags in Santa Cruz California, to the current recognition as an industry leader, Osprey has always flown its own course. Now based in Cortez, Colorado, Osprey has over 30 years of pack-making experience.
