Osprey Refines Ultra-Light Exos Series for Spring 2014

Cortez, CO – July 22, 2013 – Osprey Packs, Inc. set the standard for ultra-lightweight packs in 2008 with the introduction of the Exos Series, which instantly became a standard on the Appalachian Trail and with ultralight enthusiasts not willing to sacrifice comfort. For Spring 2014, Osprey has refined the series, maximizing its comfort and support with the latest technology. The redesigned Exos combines Osprey’s innovative Superlight AirSpeed™ suspension paired with the new Exoform™ harness and hipbelt which work together to dramatically improve the pack’s comfort and support. Torso-specific sizing and sleek, ergonomic design create a pack that is as comfortable as it is fast and light.

Trimmed down to its essentials, the new Exos Series is lighter than ever, thanks to the use of updated materials and hardware. As a result, even the largest pack in series tops out at a mere 2.5 pounds. For those who want to lighten the load even further, the lid, key straps and attachment points are all removable.
