(Denver, Colo.) – Ouray Sportswear, a full service manufacturer of decorated sportswear and headwear was named the 2011 Small Business of the Year today by the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce.
Ouray (pronounced Yü-ray) Sportswear was selected out of a group of 13 nominees in the category which recognizes businesses with fewer than 250 employees and less than $100 million in revenue. The Chamber selection committee conducted extensive on-site interviews with the three finalists prior to selecting Ouray. The awards ceremony was held at the Comedy Works South in Landmark Place and was attended by over 400 business leaders from the Denver community.
