By the end of the month, over 1,000 sales agencies will be included. The free directory is designed to make it easy for great brands in Outdoor Retail to find & contact the best Independent Sales Agencies to represent their products. Brands can search for sales reps/agencies by category, by geo or view all the reps/agencies in the USA on a map. Designed and built by REPatron, the site is designed to be Mobile1st so it is optimized to work on all mobile devices as well as the computer/laptop in the office.

“I’ve worked with over 120 sales agencies in Outdoor Retail and helped them with them with their REP websites, Retailer Relationship Management & email marketing. I discovered that brands were going to our REPatron customer listing and clicking on the Sales Agency logos to find reps. Quite a few brands contacted me directly and asked me to make it easier for them to locate great reps and several asked me to put them on a map. They were tired of paying for outdated resume searches (3rd page in had a guy who died 5 years ago RIP) or paying crusty headhunters who guarded their yellowed out rolodexes,” says Peter Pawlus, Founder of the Outdoor Rep Directory. “I’d also like to reach out to the regional outdoor rep associations to partner and feature their member agencies using this new technology.”

While it is a curated directory, sales agencies can list themselves for free with a basic listing and link to their Rep/Sales Agency websites. Upgraded listings are also available with additional features to showcase agencies.

An innovative use of the mapping technology can display the locations of all reps in the agency to show true territory coverage. In an upcoming release, brand sales directors can favorite sales agencies in a search and compare/return to their saved lists. Our goal is to make it easy for brands to find and contact the best sales agencies in Outdoor Retail.
