Outdoor Research Announces Jackton Downard as International Sales Mgn.

Outdoor Research, manufacturer of functional solutions for human powered adventure, announced that Jackton Downard has been hired as the International Sales Manager – Asia Pacific and South America. Jackton’s background represents a strong base of the retail environment and solid sales experience as a rep in the Pacific Northwest. He has serviced accounts in WA, OR, AK, MT and ID over the past 12 years for such brands as Chaco Sandals, Gregory Packs, Atlas Snowshoes, Teko Socks and others. “Jackton has established and grown sales significantly for these lines over the past decade and he has a solid understanding of all the tools to affect strong brand presence and sell through in the retail environment,” said Alex Kutches, VP of Sales and Marketing.

Jackton holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute and he has a strong background as a climber and skier.
