Outdoor Retailer to Host Inaugural Avalaunch Winter Market Awards
Nominations accepted until January 6, with final voting beginning January 10
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. – January 4, 2012 – Created to honor those who have broken new ground in the snowsports industry, Avalaunch and Outdoor Retailer announce the inaugural Avalaunch Winter Market Awards. Honorees will be selected for five categories: Ambassador, New Product, Safety Product, Avalanche Educator and Overall Company.
The nomination process is open until end-of-day Friday, January 6 on www.outdoorretailer.com/avalaunch. To determine the award winners, the top five nominees will be indentified and voting for finalists will begin online January 10. Voting will also take place in the Avalaunch Booth in the Snowsports Zone during OR Winter Market. Award winners will be announced during a special ceremony in the Zone Sunday, January 22 at 2:30 p.m.
