Outgo Personal Care Brand to Sponsor Whatcom County Mud Race

Bellingham, WA (August 31, 2012) — Outgoâ„¢, the leader in personal care products for in-field use, announces sponsorship of Whatcom County’s first annual mud race, Muds to Suds. Taking place Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Hovander Park in Ferndale, Wash., Muds to Suds is a nearly 3-mile obstacle course featuring 20 spectator-friendly, muddy obstacles.

In addition, Outgo has sponsored the “rUN-Stoppable” obstacle, a series of hurdles guaranteed to test participants’ endurance and humility. Racers and spectators are also encouraged to visit the Outgo booth for an opportunity to win prizes and free swag. The event will also feature several local food vendors, live music, a kid’s zone and a beer garden hosted by Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro.

“We are thrilled to have the support of local companies like Outgo,” said Bri Thomas, Muds to Suds coordinator. “Our goal is to makes this event as community oriented as possible.”

Interested participants can register individually or as a team the day of the race, however, early bird registrants, who sign up before September 7, 2012, are entitled to a discounted registration fee, free T-shirt, snacks and a free beverage, including beer from Boundary Bay for those participants over 21.
