Outside magazine promotes Paul Rolnick
Outside magazine announced today that Paul Rolnick has been promoted to Consumer Marketing Director from Retail Sales and Partnership Director.

Santa Fe, NM (May 2, 2006) – Outside magazine announced today that Paul Rolnick has been promoted to Consumer Marketing Director from Retail Sales and Partnership Director. Rolnick will be responsible for all consumer marketing activities and rate base management at Outside magazine, along with other Mariah Media publications. Rolnick will be based in New York and will report to Angelo Gaziano, Outside’s executive vice president/chief operating officer, in Santa Fe.
“Paul brings with him more than twenty years of publishing industry experience,” said Gaziano. “His extensive knowledge and comprehensive background in circulation, sales, and marketing has been, and will continue to be, an incredible asset to our team.”
Prior to his tenure with Outside, Rolnick served as the Circulation Director for Emap Metro, where he was in charge of retail sales, agency, and new business subscription operations for FHM. Previously, he served as Circulation Director for Wizard Entertainment, managing consumer marketing and sales activities for entertainment publications and ancillary products. Prior to that, he was the Circulation Director for Spin magazine, and has also worked for Wenner Media, Ziff Davis, and General Media.
Rolnick was chosen to judge the 2005 Circulation Management Magazine’s Circulation Excellence Awards. He is a member of the Fulfillment Management Association, as well as the Periodical and Book Association. Rolnick received his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz, graduating with honors. In his free time, Rolnick is involved in local service projects and enjoys playing tennis, running marathons, and skiing.
