OutsidePR is proud to welcome Kelsey Anderson as the new account executive to its growing team of seasoned staff. Anderson, a 2014 Chico State graduate and avid mountain biker and skier, is a Bay Area native and a strategic thinker by nature.
Anderson began honing her skillset and passion for PR as the editorial director of Tehama Group Communications, the student-managed Chico State public relations agency, where she managed content productionfrom clients throughout Butte County. She designed and taught tailored courses to groups and individuals on Associated Press style, grammar, crafting leads and story quality.
“Kelsey’s passion for the outdoors, incorporated with her writing and communicating skills, is a perfect match with OutsidePR’s culture,” said Gordon Wright, president and founder of OutsidePR. “Her fresh perspective, and the ingenuity it brings, will complement our team’s existing experience and talent.”
Well-versed in the outdoor sport industry, Anderson raced mountain bikes at an elite level across the gravity and endurance disciplines and served as a sport ambassador for the women’s mountain bike apparel brand, Loeka. Anderson said she’s eager to learn from the OutsidePR pros and further delve into outdoor industry companies and markets.
