Over 40,000 Trailers in 20 Countries, Weehoo Reaches New Sales Benchmark, Expands Colorado-Based Headquarters

4-Year Old Bike Trailer Company Extends Reach into Major Retailers LL Bean, Moosejaw and Expands International Distribution

March 24, 2014, Golden, CO: Business is booming for Weehoo, maker of the unique and adventurous i•GO bicycle trailers. Based in Golden, CO, the company recently moved its headquarters into a new facility after outgrowing their previous space in just two years. The move comes on the heels of newly signed partnerships with online retailer giants LL Bean and Moosejaw.

“The rate of growth we have enjoyed over the last 4 years is astonishing,” notes Jeff Wanamaker, EVP of Sales and Marketing for Weehoo. “We recently surpassed having sold over 40,000 trailers in over 20 countries, which solidifies our place in the market as one of the most rapidly rising brands in the industry.” Weehoo attributes the success of the trailers to their versatility and to the unique, melt-down-free experience for kids. “We’re selling much more than a trailer – we are selling a unique experience and opportunity for bonding with your child and creating life-long memories together,” says Wanamaker.

Weehoo’s expansion hasn’t been solely domestic. The company is currently signing new distributors in Canada and Germany, is launching a new European office based in Poland to service their European customers and has partnered with a Lithuanian company to facilitate growth in Russia and the entire Baltic region. With the rise in popularity of bicycling commuting and bicycling for health and fitness, Weehoo is poised to reach record sales in 2014 through raising product awareness.

About Weehoo: Safe, engaging, and a blast to ride, the Weehoo i•GO, i•GO 2, and i•Go Venture bicycle trailers are the new benchmark for bicycle trailers. The balanced, streamlined design of the i•GO bicycle trailer gives you the ability to share your riding style with your children. This exciting approach to family riding allows children to ride, eat, sleep, or just sit back and enjoy the ride. Based in Golden, CO, Weehoo was born late in 2010 from a father’s desire to share bicycle trails with his children in a way that would allow them to be safe, and have the option to pedal, eat, sleep or enjoy the ride. www.rideweehoo.com
