Pacific Outdoor Equipment names Bartho as Int'l Market Director

Pacific Outdoor Equipment has added James Bartho as International Market Director. He will be joining the Bozeman, Montana based company in this newly created position to further expand Pacific Outdoor Equipment’s international brand presence. Bartho will work directly with Pacific Outdoor’s global distributors and dealers as well as the international media.

Bartho rounds out the company’s inside sales team, joining recently added Domestic Sales Director, John Campbell. Building on the growth of the past six years, the company plans to rededicate General Manager, Greg Garrigues, to his original roles of product development, planning, environmental alliances, and management team support. Garrigues will work closely with Bartho to ensure an easy transition during the interim.

Bartho comes to Pacific Outdoor with extensive outdoor industry experience ranging from outdoor retail to manufacturing and brand management. His most recent experience came at the Sea to Summit headquarters in Perth, Australia where he made substantial contributions in International Brand Management and Import Brand Development. “It is a real opportunity to join the Pacific Outdoor team and contribute to its global efforts,” said Bartho. “I look forward to being a part of a company that is driven by developing performance oriented, forward thinking, and environmentally sensitive products.” Bartho is also an avid climber, paddler, traveler and wine connoisseur.

Moving to Bozeman from Australia is a dream come true for James, as he has always wanted to be chased by a grizzly and loves to ride buffalo. James and his partner Kimberly will be living in Bozeman with their black lab and vacationing in Boulder and Western Australia.
