Paddling Life Forms Partnership with AllAboutRivers.com

(July 17, 2009): Steamboat Springs, Colo.’s Paddling Life, the industry’s only true green E-zine, has announced a strategic content and marketing partnership with online stalwart All About Rivers.com, designed to increase functionality, search engine optimization, and embrace joint sales partnerships.
“AllAboutRivers.com is like the yellow pages for river runners,” says Brad Goettemoeller, founder of AllAboutRivers.com, whose demographics include a broad cross-section of kayakers, private rafters, commercial rafting outfitters and clients and other paddlers. “While we operate in the same industry, our sites fill different but complementary roles. By sharing content, we can provide the best information and the most entertaining content for paddlers across the country. We’re very excited about the partnership.”
Under the agreement, the content partnership parameters will be in place by August, with deep links from Paddling Life articles to All About Rivers and vice versa. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, All About Rivers’ industry-leading guides and outfitters section will also be integrated into the Paddling Life site. A sales agreement will follow in the fall, giving advertisers access to both heavily trafficked portals.

The move follows an announcement earlier this summer in which Paddling Life
partnered with web-service provider ALLTrips.com to ensure its visitors are equipped with critical information when paddling in one of is affiliate destinations, connecting Paddling Life with a network of engaging online travel guides, and connecting visitors to local information in great destinations.
