Pakems Kicks Off the Summer Season at Vail’s 2014 GoPro Mountain Games

Denver, Colo. May 28th, 2014 – Pakems, a Colorado-based lifestyle company specializing in lightweight, packable shoes for before and after outdoor activity, is excited to announce their participation in the 2014 GoPro Mountain Games. The GoPro Mountain Games will be returning to Vail June 5-8, 2014.

The event serves as a tremendous celebration of adventure and action sports, music, and mountain lifestyle. Over 3,000 professional and amateur athletes from around the world will compete in nine sports and 25 different disciplines. Pakems will be returning to the GoPro Mountain Games after an amazing response to their shoes last year.

Pakems’ lightweight, compressible design has allowed the brand to quickly become the “go-to” shoe for before and after sport comfort. High-top and low-cut styles may be worn around a campsite or after cycling, long hikes, backpacking, running, skiing, or rafting. These smart, comfortable shoes are made from a soft ripstop fabric that compacts nearly flat. This kid-friendly festival offers activities, such as kayaking, rock climbing, SUP, ziplining, and live concerts, but the Vail Valley Foundation and Pakems agree that “Swag Hunting” is really the ultimate family activity. Pakems will be selling its newest shoes during the events, but it’s first-come, first-served, so visit their exhibitor booth sooner rather than later!
