WAITSFIELD, VERMONT, January 10, 2013 – Strengthening agency experience in climbing, mountaineering and backcountry skiing, Pale Morning Media today announced the hiring of Taylor VanRoekel as account coordinator.
VanRoekel joins the Pale Morning Media team from Height of Land Publications (Jeffersonville, Vermont) where he was an assistant editor for Backcountry Magazine. VanRoekel’s work included writing and editing support for Backcountry Magazine as well as Alpinist, Climberism.com and the splitboarding journal Kronicle.

VanRoekel is a Minnesota native who grew up skiing and adventuring among the foothills, lakes and river valleys that typify the Great Lakes’ landscape. An avid climber and skier, VanRoekel brings a natural affinity for the outdoor world to the new position.
