Pale Morning Media welcomes back Caitlin Welter to growing public relations team

WAITSFIELD, VERMONT – Pale Morning Media (www.palemorningmedia.com), a public relations and creative communications agency specializing in the outdoor world, today announced the return of Caitlin Welter to their growing national team.
Welter worked at Pale Morning Media from 2009 through 2011, supporting a broad variety of accounts in multiple fields, and growing an already-strong collection of outdoor industry contacts.
“Caitlin delivers an instant boost of public relations experience, along with an immediate familiarity with our systems, culture and clients,” said Drew Simmons, Pale Morning Media president and founder. “As an added bonus, she’s already comfortable with my 4 a.m. emails.”
Based in Vermont’s Mad River Valley with a satellite office in Portland, Maine, Pale Morning Media currently employs seven full-time staff members and multiple independent contractors. Their experienced staff includes a blend of former journalists and lifelong outdoor enthusiasts, whose familiarity with the evolving media landscape is matched by a nuanced understanding of what makes a product, personality or pursuit truly newsworthy.

Most recently, Welter worked as Account Executive for HFS Communications, a boutique public relations and social media agency. At HFS, Welter provided strategic and tactical support to brands in the outdoor, footwear, fitness and lifestyle markets.
Welter’s outdoor education began growing up on the playground known as Vermont, where she fostered a competitive alpine ski-racing career into college at the University of Vermont. When she isn’t busy supporting the brands she represents, she is busy enjoying the activities they support.
