MISSOULA, MT- Youer, maker of clothing and accessories for adventurous women, has partnered with Press Forward for media relations, product placement, and communications strategy.
“Youer is about celebrating everything that makes you different,” Mallory Ottariano, Founder and CEO of Youer. “It’s about showing the world your personality through bold colors and bright patterns, supporting causes you care about while voting for women with your dollars.”
Youer pronounced like ‘YOUer,’ creates and makes sustainable products in the USA that are frequently brightly-colored, well-fitting, crossover athletic wear. Most well known for the ‘Treasure Dress’ and ‘Get After It’ skort, Mallory designs all of the prints that end up on the fabrics.
“Partnering with Youer, was a natural fit, based around a love of the products and a like minded sustainable ethos,” said Katie Flagg, a partner at Press Forward. “We love Mallory’s sense of design and creation of sustainable products that celebrate the uniqueness of you.”
Mallory started the business in 2012, creating one of a kind products made with upcycled fabrics. Today all of Youer’s products are made in the USA, nearly all of the products are made from recycled plastic bottles, garments are packaged in bags made from vegetable starch that are certified home compostable, and orders ship in brown paper mailer or cardboard box, made from recycled materials which are easily compostable/recyclable (once you remove the shipping label).
