Patagonia Footwear Showcases EVERmore Trail Runners

Patagonia Footwear showcases the launch of their Spring 2013 collection at the Outdoor Retailer Trade Show. Ambassador Krissy Moehl & Ultra Athlete Luke Nelsen to lead fun runs at the Open Air Demo; Purchase EVERmore Trail Runners, booth #13043

Patagonia Footwear showcases the launch of their Spring 2013 collection with a special emphasis on performance trail running shoes. The brand will host a special event at the Open Air Demo, Wednesday, August 1 at the Jordanelle State Park. Participants can meet and run with Patagonia ambassadors and Ultra Running athletes including Krissy Moehl and Luke Nelsen as well as demo Patagonia’s newest minimal trail shoe, the EVERmore. Fun runs will take place at 11am and 1pm. The first 20 runners will receive a pair of Patagonia socks; all runners will receive an Elemental Herbs sunstick and be eligible to win free gifts.

For those unable to attend the demo, Patagonia Footwear will host a Happy Hour, Thursday August 2 at its booth #13043. Show attendees can purchase the EVERmore trail shoes for $30 (MSRP $115) and the Brand will donate $15.00 to 1% For the Planet for each pair purchased.

The EVERmore is Patagonia Footwear’s lightest shoe to date (6.2 ounces for women and 7.8 ounces for men). The EVERmore has a durable, breathable air mesh upper with protective overlays and drainage ports to dissipate water after stream crossings. The soft, counter-free heel, integrated footbed and flexible midsole and outsole allow the foot to naturally connect with the terrain with enough cushioning –10mm in the heel and 6mm in the forefoot – and a rock plate for ultra distance protection. Additional new models include the Fore Runner Evo with a new durable, protective and precise fitting upper and the Gamut, a traditional, more cushioned shoe for long distance training and multi-surface running. The entire collection of trail running shoes are built and designed with key feedback from Patagonia ambassadors and ultra running athletes and include a range of products that meets the needs of different runners and different terrain – from training to long distances, as well as multi-surface running.

About Patagonia
Patagonia, with sales last year of over $500M, is noted internationally for its commitment to product quality and environmental activism. Incorporating environmental responsibility in to product development, the company has, since 1996, used only organically grown cotton in its clothing line. With its most recent launch of synthetic fiber-to-fiber recycling, Patagonia is taking back worn-out polyester and nylon clothing and reincarnating it as new products, forever capturing the raw materials used in making virgin fiber. The company also advocates corporate transparency through its interactive website, The Footprint Chronicles, which outlines the environmental and social footprint of individual products. Patagonia was featured as The Coolest Company on the Planet on Fortune Magazine’s April 2007 cover.
