Patrick Deneen, 2010 U.S. Olympic Ski Team member, 2009 World Champion Freestyle Skier and 180s ambassador, won a silver medal in the men’s moguls and a bronze in the dual moguls competitions in Are, Sweden, last weekend.
“I was incredibly happy with the way I skied and that I was able to show my full potential, resulting in two trips to the podium,†said Deneen. “Dual moguls is particularly hard on the athlete, having to put down five runs consistently, so it felt good to have such a solid performance throughout the competition.â€
Deneen started his relationship with 180s, developer of intelligently designed outdoor gear, accessories and apparel, six years ago and has played a significant role in helping the company develop its QUANTUM VENT GLOVEâ„¢, a high-performance ski and board glove that cools overheated hands with a patent pending adjustable venting system.
“Patrick has been such an amazing athlete and partner for the 180s brand throughout the years, and we congratulate him on these terrific wins,†said Brian Parker, director of marketing for 180s. “Although entrenched in heavy training and competition schedules, he’s been able to help make our customers’ outdoor experiences better through his insight and expertise. We remain inspired by his dedication and continued potential.â€
