Peregrine Outfitters ships first order from Ogden, Utah Warehouse

March 1, 2007: Peregrine Outfitters shipped the 1st customer order from their new Ogden, Utah warehouse today. According to Bob Olsen, President, Bristlecone Mountain Sports in Basalt, Colorado will receive the first shipment from the new facility. “We targeted March 1st as a start date for this new warehouse many months ago and it’s come together as planned. Our CFO, Mike DuPont, and his warehouse team have done a tremendous job. Initial response from our western dealers has been very strong and we’re excited about fulfilling our commitment to faster shipping times and freight cost savings.

The Ogden facility will also be available to clients of Peregrine’s 3rd party warehousing and order fulfillment division, Peregrine Distribution Services. Olsen noted that, “Many of our P.D.S. clients have seasonal products. Speed to shelves is always an issue and now we can now get their products almost anywhere in the lower 48 states via ground shipment in 3 days or less from our two warehouses.”

Peregrine Outfitters distributes over 7,000 accessories and books to outdoor retailers.
