Clitheroe, UK – Pertex®, designer and manufacturer of high-performance fabrics, announces a partnership with Spyder Active Sports, Inc., a leading skiwear and mountain-based apparel brand, to produce select new pieces for the Spyder 2011 – 2012 collection.
Pertex provides fabrics to an array of top outdoor industry manufacturers in the U.S. and Europe for creation of high-end apparel and sleeping bags. Pertex’s outstanding reputation in the UK and high quality fabric offerings is what piqued Spyder’s interest.

Spyder Active Sports, renowned for integrating high-tech fabrics, fashion and functionality, will introduce both the warmest jacket in the entire Spyder collection, the Men’s Rocket Down Jacket, and the luxurious Women’s Cloud Nine Down Jacket featuring Pertex Shield® fabric for fall/winter 2011.
