DENVER, Colo. (November 19, 2019) – Picture Organic Clothing, makers of recycled, organic, and bio-sourced products for board sports, is proud to announce their official apparel sponsorship for the upcoming 2020 WinterWonderGrass festival, taking place in Steamboat, Squaw, and Stratton. Together, the like-minded organizations aim to create an environment for skiers, riders, and music-lovers to gather and enjoy everything that makes up the winter mountain culture.

“WinterWonderGrass brings together passionate, socially conscious skiers and riders to our key markets, providing us with an opportunity to engage with an audience that shares Picture’s core values of ‘ride, protect, and share’,” says Picture co-founder, Julien Durant. “From the attendees to the locations to the partners involved, these are our people. The partnership was a natural fit for us.”

Taking place in Colorado from February 21st – 23rd, California from March 27th – 29th and Vermont from April 10th – 11th, each festival brings together some of the biggest names and emerging acts in bluegrass and Americana music, with a focus on creating community, supporting local businesses and non-profits, and skiing and riding with friends. A love for nature and commitment to sustainable living is a strong underlying theme that can be found throughout the festival and event sponsors. On mountain, Picture and WinterWonderGrass will host ski-with-a-pro and ski-with-the-band activations. On festival grounds, Picture will host eco-friendly promotions, giveaways, and info on the latest developments in sustainable outerwear.

“We are committed to doing our part to fight climate change and preserve our natural landscapes that bring so much joy and beauty to our lives,” says festival founder, Scotty Stoughton. “As a plastic-free event, WinterWonderGrass is leading the way for implementing sustainable practices at our events, just as Picture is on the forefront of sustainable manufacturing for outerwear. Coupled with their unique style and deep connection to the snowsports community, we felt Picture was an ideal partner.”

About WinterWonderGrass

Music, winter sports, craft beer, fresh eats, and family is what makes up the three days of the WinterWonderGrass Festival. With deep roots in Colorado, California and growing in Vermont, the event has established itself as a leader in the winter lifestyle culture where the quality of experience outweighs the notion of quantity. WinterWonderGrass is an intimate gathering where inspiration and connection sit at its core. Our community is focused on sustainability, local non-profit support, nurturing the next generation and truly backing the arts.

Since its inception, the festival continues to cultivate the relationship between nature, roots music and community. It has established itself as a vehicle for inspiration, a place where open hearts and minds–along with a dissolved illusion of separation–creates a true, authentic platform for artists, vendors, attendees and the planet to connect as one.
