Polartec Prepares to Show Latest Fabric Technologies at Performance Days

Lawrence, Mass. – Polartec, the premium provider of innovative textile solutions, prepares to showcase its latest fabric technologies at Performance Days, the functional fabric fair for sportswear, November 4th and 5th in Munich. This will mark the first time Polartec has showcased its products at the sold-out show, which caters to activewear innovations, trends, and new fabrics and materials for the world’s industry experts.

Polartec’s participation in the show is driven by the brand’s growth in the athletic market. Polartec has worked closely with the world’s premier outdoor brands for decades, developing new fabric technologies with certain performance characteristics for them.

“With the growth of athletic apparel and the premiumisation of the market, we’re seeing more and more athletic brands investing in premium fabric technologies, so we’re dedicating more resources to cater to them,” says Allison Spahr, Polartec VP of Global Design. “Some are using versions of technologies we’ve developed for the outdoor market or the military, and some are working with us to develop versions specifically suited to their needs. It’s all part of the growing demand for more functional apparel for daily attire.”
