Malmö, Sweden (October 10, 2018) – Polygiene, the leader in Stays Fresh technologies, today announces new and innovative products incorporating Polygiene for Spring 2019. Partners like Rab, Evoc, PacSafe and SOLE Footwear are all expanding their use of Polygiene in the coming year.
“We are excited to add new brands to our partner list, as well as expand our work with existing partners,” says Nick Brosnan, Marketing Manager at Polygiene. “Consumers today expect the same level of performance from casual travel wear as they expect from running gear. Polygiene provides brands with a branded odor control solution that works for everything from apparel to packs to sleeping bags and footbeds.”
In the apparel category, Rab and Mountain Equipment introduce new products with Polygiene for Spring 2019. Rab grew their partnership with Polygiene in 2017 with the Neutrino sleeping bag series, and has since continued to expand their base layers, jackets and gloves categories with Polygiene. The new Pulse Collection for Spring 2019 offers a range of lightweight and fast-drying, next-to-skin layers with Polygiene. The collection also features 30+UPF sun protection in all four pieces—a hoody, long sleeve zip tee, short sleeve tee, and tank.
Likewise, Mountain Equipment will continue using Polygiene in the next generation of the Groundup line of base layers. “Partners often like Polygiene for base layers as those garments pick up odor more easily being next to skin and it’s an easy introduction to our performance. Once brands see the response from their consumers, the opportunities are endless,” says Brosnan. “In addition, with our ‘Wear More. Wash Less’ philosophy, we aim to extend the life of the garment by minimizing odors, so consumers don’t need to do laundry after every use.”
In the pack category, Evoc will introduce the Neo 16l pack with Polygiene in March. The Neo 16l features Evoc’s award-winning Airshield for maximum crash protection and ventilation, and incorporates Polygiene into both the hip belt and shoulder strap materials—areas that are bound to get sweaty on tough rides. Other features include an external tool compartment, built-in rain cover, helmet compartment, and tear-resistant fabric.
In the footwear category, Polygiene will add a new partner, Olukai, and expand its partnership with SOLE Footwear. All SOLE footbeds offered in 2019 will be treated with Polygiene, from active to casual models and designed for everything from ski boots to dress shoes.
Finally, Polygiene has always been popular in the travel world and continues to gain momentum in the category in 2019. PacSafe will incorporate Polygiene into additional pieces in the Transit Collection, including vests and tops optimized for travel with stash pockets designed for passports, wallets, and other travel essentials.
