PORON® Cushioning Partners with 200 Mile Relay Race

Woodstock, CT – PORON® Cushioning has teamed up with long-distance New Balance Reach the Beach Relay: New Hampshire, taking place September 14-15th.

What started as a group of friends with an idea of inviting people to run from the mountains to the ocean has turned into one of the largest relay races across the country. The successful event is now in its 14th consecutive year of running.

The Relay begins at the base of Cannon Mountain in Franconia, NH and finish in Hampton Beach, NH. Four hundred and fifty teams, which mostly consist of 12 team members, will take turns running 24 hours straight – or until they reach the finish.

Due to the success of the New Hampshire race, event organizers added two additional Reach the Beach Relay events – one in May in Massachusetts and the other in October in New Jersey.

At the finish line, teams will be greeted with live music, hot food and cold beverages. This will be the first time all 12 team members have been together since the start line, and will celebrate by sharing a few stories about their experience along the course.
