Climb for the Top at 8th Annual Portland Boulder Rally

The Largest Single-Day Bouldering Competition and Festival in the Nation!

Portland, ORE. (August 13, 2018) – Circuit Bouldering Gym and Next Adventure host the largest single-day bouldering competition and festival in the nation for the eighth year on October 6, 2018 at The Circuit’s 19,000 square foot gym in Tigard, Oregon.

Each year 300 climbers compete for big prizes, including a $10,000 cash purse, which draws acclaimed professional athletes from around the country. In addition, nearly 150 youth compete for points and advancement to the USA Climbing Regional Championships. Competitor registration is open and includes climbing categories for all skill levels, from recreational climbers to masters.

The Portland Boulder Rally will have global coverage via a 3-hour HD live stream webcast beginning at 7pm PST. The webcast will include event highlights, behind the scenes footage, and a live feed of the open category finals where the top six men and women battle for their share of the cash purse.

Spectators don’t have to climb to rally! The Portland Boulder Rally is a free event for spectators throughout the day where they can meet and watch the pros. Tickets to watch open category finals inside the gym will be available starting September 6. Attendees can also watch the finals live on a jumbo screen in the covered festival area, where attendance is free and spectators can enjoy beer at the Hopworks beer garden, food from popular food carts, and some of the best seats in the house.
