Precor AMT® “best innovation” at European fitness show

Adaptive Motion Trainer® a landslide winner in Fit2PRO poll of fitness professionals

Woodinville, WA – Precor’s Adaptive Motion Trainer®, or AMT®, has been honored as best product innovation at Fit2PRO, Belgium’s national fitness-industry trade show.
The show draws fitness, physiotherapy and wellness professionals, who selected the AMT as the industry’s top innovation in a poll conducted by show officials. According to Fit2PRO, the AMT received 50 percent more votes than the runner-up.
A breakthrough new form of cardio equipment that allows users to instantly choose and change stride motion and speed, the AMT also earned Product of the Year honors in the international fitness industry’s 2007 NOVA7 awards.
“We’re just now bringing the AMT to the European market in a substantial way, so it’s encouraging to receive validation from industry experts there,” said Paul Byrne president of Precor. “We’ve received an overwhelming response since beginning a progressive rollout in North America a year ago, and have high expectations for the AMT as we extend availability into Europe.”
The AMT is the most recent success for Precor, riding a wave of momentum due to product and service innovations that help fitness facilities deliver a more engaging Member Experience®. Precor booked its sixth consecutive year of record-setting revenues in 2007, with sales of $411 million globally.
