Woodinville, Wa – Precor Incorporated has announced that Tom Hull joined the company as the Vice President of Sales – Americas. This important hire completes the Senior Management Team, filling the role previously held by Chris Torggler who is now serving as General Manager – Precor Strength.

Hull brings to Precor extensive leadership experience in the technology industry and unique credentials in the fields of sports and health. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Executive Committee member at Attachmate Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the Global 1000, where he led North American sales and consulting operations for the company’s Attachmate and NetIQ business units. Before joining Attachmate in 2003, he spent nearly twenty years in leadership positions with firms including RealNetworks, Sequent, and IBM. Hull was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic rowing team and he remains an active competitor in masters racing. He serves on the board of the YMCA of Greater Seattle, where he is closely involved in health and fitness issues, and he is past president of the George Pocock Rowing Foundation, on whose board he served for seventeen years.

Long known for industry changing innovations like the EFX® Elliptical Cross-Trainer and the Adaptive Motion Trainer, Precor captured attention again this year with the introduction of new Experience Series™ cardio equipment. The 880 Line of the Experience Series boasts a touchscreen user experience that rivals the best in personal electronics and access to Preva™, the Precor entry into networked fitness. With the 880 Line and Preva exceeding customer and company expectations Precor is rapidly adding “technology leader” to its “fitness leader” credentials. The addition of Tom Hull helps solidify both.
