HONG KONG, 17 February 2014 – Anderson Lee, President and CEO of Pinneco Research Limited, was invited to be a guest lecturer at the Fashion and Textiles M.A. Programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University on February 17, 2014.

The Fashion and Textiles M.A. Programme is under The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s Institute of Textiles and Clothing. Students of this programme are provided with “advanced knowledge and tools to meet the demands of their careers as fashion merchandising professionals in executing and managing merchandising activities locally and globally. Graduates are able to build up their careers in the manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing and international trade sectors of the fashion and textile industry.”

Lee was invited as a guest lecturer for the lecture topic “Clothing and Textile Materials and Processes.” As an industry leader and a prominent figure of sustainability in the textiles industry in Hong Kong, Lee continues to spread his enthusiasm for sustainability by educating the younger generation. Sharing knowledge amongst the industry, supply chain, and across different industries is Lee’s vow in sustainable collaboration, which he believes “is the only way forward to advancing the textile industry, as well as human society as a whole.”

Lee has also been invited to become a Visiting Lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for an elective under the B.A. Fashion and Textiles programme on “Sustainability.” The commencements of the lectures will begin in January 2015 for fourteen weeks.
