PrimaLoft® Announces Winners of ‘Shove It’ Contest

Albany, NY – The PrimaLoft® team sends three cheers to Susan Shinkai from The Natural Resource and Kyle Abrahamsen with Kiss My Face, winners of the PrimaLoft® ‘Shove It’ contest that was held at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in January. The contest celebrated the launch of PrimaLoft® INFINITY, PrimaLoft® Insulation’s newest development.
Shinkai and Abrahamsen were among the over 70 participants who revealed their shoving prowess by stuffing a sleeping bag filled with PrimaLoft® INFINITY into a narrow cylinder with a plunger. The contest was to demonstrate first-hand the compressibility of the new insulation.
Both winners will receive the new PrimaLoft® INFINITY insulated Boreal 40° sleeping bag from Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS).
PrimaLoft® INFINITY is a fine denier continuous filament insulation. The new insulation is designed for sleeping bags and outerwear to offer greater loft and shelf appeal while providing the technical properties for which PrimaLoft® insulation is renowned.
This spring, EMS is offering a line of sleeping bags, the Boreal Series, which includes the Boreal 40° and Boreal 20° insulated with PrimaLoft® INFINITY.
