BORDENTOWN, N.J. (May 30, 2012) – Whether the job’s dozens of feet off the ground, underground, or in confined spaces, one thing’s for sure: you need a tough, reliable light. As a leader in innovative outdoor and industrial lighting for more than 35 years, New Jersey-based Princeton Tec is adding two new lights to its industrial division – the EOS II and Quad® II.

“Both of these versatile lights are designed and engineered for the industrial world and are durable, bright, and intrinsically safe,” said John Luchka, Princeton Tec’s Industrial Sales Manager. “We know how important it is to have an efficient and dependable light while out in the field and these are two headlamps that won’t let you down.”

The brighter of the two new lights, the EOS II packs a serious punch in a compact, lightweight package. Featuring 80 lumens, 121 hours of burntime, and 1 Maxbright LED, the intrinsically safe EOS II headlamp offers a focused spot beam and is designed and constructed to meet the most rigorous of demands both in application and environment. The sleek, easy-to-use light is self-contained, waterproof, and includes a rubber strap for hard hat use along with industrial 3M Dual LockTM and a nylon strap for use as a standard headlamp. Complete with three AAA batteries, the EOS II is your go-to for any tough job and is Class I, Division 1 Groups A, B, C, and D UL Rating approved with a T4 UL Temp Code.

The new Quad® II provides second-to-none design and performance. Boasting 78 lumens, 105 hours of burntime, and 4 Ultrabright LEDs, the intrinsically safe headlamp provides a wide beam of light for all purpose needs and performing up-close tasks. Built with a robust housing construction, the waterproof light includes the same rubber strap as the EOS II for mounting on a hard hat. The Quad® II includes three AAA batteries and is Class I, Division 1 Groups A, B, C, and D UL Rating approved with a T4 UL Temp Code.
