PROBAR® Wins Utah Best of State Distinction
Park City, UT (May 11, 2011)—PROBAR is proud to be the recognized as Best of State in its home state of Utah. The award, bestowed upon the Utah’s most successful, innovative and community-focused businesses, was officially announced last week on bestofstate.org.
Applicants for Utah’s Best of State were judged under three categories: 1) Achievements in the field of endeavor, 2) Innovation or creativity in approaches, techniques, methods or processes, and 3) Contribution to improving community life in Utah. PROBAR’s President, Jules Lambert, commented: “To receive this award is very meaningful to us. We’ve always strived to not only to make great tasting all-natural food, but also to be a place people are proud to work and gives back to our community.”
In PROBAR’s Core Values statement, a document that embodies a philosophy encouraging health, integrity and workplace camaraderie, the first value reads: “Treat Business Like You Treat Family.” It is beginning with this basic tenet that has inspired PROBAR to be a leader in the Utah community, to create a workplace dedicated toward healthy, happy employees, and has helped inform the company’s philosophy behind the pursuit of delicious, convenient, healthy, plant-based food.
Although PROBAR was founded in Park City, UT in 2003, this award marks the company’s first time applying for and winning the distinction. We’re proud to call Utah home and it comes as no surprise to us that Forbes identified Utah as the Best State for Business in 2010.
