Rab Hires Chris Lathrop as New England Sales Representation

LOUISVILLE, Colo. (August, 18, 2010) — In a move to provide dedicated sales representation in the territory, technical outdoor apparel manufacturer Rab is proud to announce the addition of Chris Lathrop to its sales team covering New England. Lathrop will cover the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and will represent both the Rab and Integral Designs brands.

Chris Lathrop brings decades of valuable experience to Rab. Committed to the outdoor industry since the early 80’s, Chris cut his teeth working in retail and in time transitioned his experience into an independent sales rep role. In 1993 he started his own sales agency, Lathrop Associates LLC, where he played a key role in the founding and pioneering of the Mountain Hardwear brand.

“We are thrilled to have snagged Chris. His experience in the development and growth of Mountain Hardwear will be extremely valuable as we work to make the Rab brand known to the US market.” said Rab CEO Matt Gowar, adding that “Lathrops support in New England will help put Rab on the map.”
